Resumen de ¿Existen diferentes tipos de turismo rural?: su influencia en el desarrollo territorial en el caso andaluz

  España es un país tradicionalmente turístico, destacando Andalucía en este sector. El turismo rural se configura como una tipología turística con fuerte potencial de crecimiento e impacto sobre el desarrollo territorial. No obstante, si este turismo es el que se desarrolla en el espacio rural y en Andalucía conviven tres tipos de zonas rurales, ¿existen tres tipos de turismo rural con incidencia diferente sobre el desarrollo territorial? Para responder a este interrogante, es necesario alcanzar los objetivos siguientes: por una parte, conocer la relación existente entre las diferentes zonas rurales andaluza y su clasificación según variables de oferta turística, a partir del análisis cluster y del análisis discriminante; por otro lado, estudiar la relación entre turismo rural y desarrollo territorial, a partir de la literatura existente; y por último, examinar aquellas zonas rurales andaluzas cuyas características turísticas son diferentes a las de otras zonas de similar clasificación como zona a revitalizar, intermedia o periurbana, circunstancia a considerar en el diseño de sus políticas locales de desarrollo territorial. Finalmente, en base a todo lo anterior, se concluye con una respuesta afirmativa a la cuestión inicial, demostrando que, salvo contadas excepciones, en las zonas rurales a revitalizar se desarrolla un turismo orientado a las casas rurales, en las intermedias, el sector turístico no suele destacar entre los principales sectores del territorio y en las zonas periurbanas el turismo es un sector ampliamente desarrollado con una diversificada oferta de alojamiento turístico.

  Rural tourism is configured as a tourist typology with strong potential for growth and impact on territorial development. However, if rural tourism takes place in rural areas, and Andalusia has three types of it, have these three types of rural tourism a different impact on territorial development? To answer this question, it is necessary to achieve the following objectives: first, to know the relationship between the different rural Andalusian variables and their classification according to tourism, from cluster analysis and discriminant analysis, on the other hand, study the relationship between rural tourism and regional development, from the literature, and finally, examine those rural Andalusian tourism characteristics are different from those in other areas of similar classification to revitalize area, intermediate or peri circumstance considered in the design of local policies of territorial development. Finally, based on the foregoing, we conclude with an affirmative answer to the initial question, showing that, with few exceptions, in rural areas to revitalize tourism develops oriented cottages, in the interim, the tourism sector not usually stand out from the main sectors of the territory and peri-urban areas, tourism is a sector widely developed a diversified supply of tourist accommodation.
