Estructura geológica en el borde oriental del Anticlinorio de Bilbao

  • This paper provides new structural data from the Bilbao Anticlinorium, near Santurce (Basque Country). Lower Cretaceous rocks within this regían show bed-parallel-thrusts, which are deformed during the development of the Bilbao Anticlinorium. Both, the thrusts and the folds indicate a top-to-the-NE motion. This tectonic evolution is correlable with that showed by the Upper Cretaceous and Lower Tertiary rocks surrounding Bilbao
