Thee levels have been stablished in the sediments of the Cuevas Labradas Formation (SW of Soria province). These correspond to the tectosedimentary units III, IV and V proposed by Yébenes et al. (1988). Two environments have been recognized: a) A predominant subtidal one, more or less protected, receiving frequent storm deposits. b) Another one affected by important tidal dynamics resulting in oolitic bars with sigmoidal stratification and herring bone.
