Las facies de areniscas en el Keuper inferior del Trías Subbético de Alcaudete (Cordillera Bética)

  • Beds of íntercalated sandstones among the sílt of Keuper facies, in the regían of Alcaudete, is interpretated by this report as a deposit of several subenrionments inside a ephemeral fluvial sistem, made up by unstable and poor defíned channels, with frequent fluctuations of the flow alternating sedimentation and erosion.

    The mechanism of channel infilling (with avulsion) are the predominant ones, as well as the ones of overflowing and spilling together with those of sheet flow
