  El presente artículo analiza el tratamiento de varias figuras míticas (un innominado centauro, el cíclope Polifemo, el héroe siciliano Acis) en la obra del poeta y latinista salmantino Juan Antonio González Iglesias. Mediante el estudio detallado de dos composiciones se identificarán algunos mecanismos de la intertextualidad, poniendo especial atención en el modo como se combinan modelos diversos y materiales heterogéneos. Otro aspecto esencial en ambos poemas es el tratamiento del erotismo, asociado a los relieves más novedosos que puede asumir el unto en las rescrituras de la postmodernidad.

  This paper examines the presence of three mythical figures (an unnamed centaur, the Cyclops Polyphemus, and the Sicilian hero Acis) in the work of the poet and Latin scholar Juan Antonio González Iglesias. The detailed examination of the two compositions will identify mechanisms of intertextuality, similar to the ancient concept of imitatio multiplex, allowing the combination of various models and heterogeneous materials. The analysis will focus on the use of erotic language and the newest importance that myth may assume in postmodern Spanish poetry.
