At a time where the influence of this rich media causes diversification possibilities in this area of studies, it is appropriate to pause and to reflect on the dialogues arising from relations of the basics in design and interactive media. Through a couple of examples, this review identifies the set of possibilities that arises in the exchange between the fundamental aspects of the design and the use of interactive multimedia tools which influence the hypermedia analysis of a project from its initial conception, causing it to develop the communication through visual tools and translations techniques of project concepts. This reading invites designers and communicators to retake the fundamental aspects of the design theory and transfer it to its applications in hypermedia. The resulting dialogues raise some questions about the evolution of design, interactive communication challenges and practical support for the enrichment of the design process and the user experience.
