David Ruiz Torres

  • The binomial art-science is widely known in the process of artistic creation, especially in recent decades where the use of new technologies has led many artists to experiment with new techniques and conceptions. This relationship has resulted in the emergence of so-called media art to describe the context in which the society of our time lies, among which we find some consolidated manifestations as video art, NET.Art or virtual art. Augmented reality can be considered the latest addition within the media art that aims to establish itself as an art in its own right. In this formulation, some facts contribute to it as the emergence of the collective state that uses this technology as means of expression and claim its role in combining the real and the virtual consolidating figure of AR Artist.
