    El artículo hace un análisis historiográfico sobre la guerrilla del Partido de los Pobres, tomando como eje de su argumento las explicaciones causales sobre el surgimiento del pdlp. Por otra parte, se cuestionan algunas explicaciones para dar algunas pistas sobre algunos lineamientos de lo que queda por estudiar respecto al proceso de insurgencia armada y con ello se busca contribuir al debate sobre la historia de esta organización

    The article undertakes a historiographical analysis of the guerrilla movement of the Party of the Poor, focusing on the causal explanations of the emergence of the pdlp. At the same time, it chal-lenges certain explanations in order to provide clues about what remains to be studied regarding the process of armed insurgency and thereby to contribute to the debate on the history of the pdlp.
