    El presente trabajo, se propone estudiar doctrinaria y legalmente la figura del "fraude fiscal o defraudación fiscal", las características que la distinguen, así como el estudio de las más importantes legislaciones extranjeras que tipifican en sus textos normativos dicha figura legal; de manera de apreciar la similitud o diferenciación que existe entre la prevista por el Código Orgánico Tributario Venezolano y la establecida en la legislación española, peruana, costarricense, argentina y mexicana. En todo caso, ofrecer herramientas de conocimiento que cobran mayor importancia, si lo que se quiere es fortalecer el sistema tributario venezolano y crear una cultura tributaria sólida, apegada a principios consonos y justos.

    This work proposes a study ofthe doctrinarian and legal aspects of "fiscal fraud or fiscal defraudation," the characteristics that distinguish it, as well as a study ofthe most important foreign legislation that typifies in its normative texts the forenamed legal figure, in order to appreciate the similarities or differences that exist between what is foreseen in the Venezuelan Organic Tributary Code and that which is established in the legislation of Spain, Pem, Costa Rica, Argentina and Mexico. In any case, the work proposes to offer tools ofknowledge which take on greater importance if the desired goal is to fortify the Venezuelan tributary system and create a solid tax -paying culture that holds fast to consonant and just principies.
