  Lo digital es una ruptura tecnológica en el origen de lo que ahora se ha acordado llamar la revolución digital. Es la fuente de transformaciones múltiples y profundas de la sociedad y sus impacto son sistemáticas hasta tal punto en que cada vez resulta más irreal tener un enfoque sectorial. Sin embargo, esto es lo que intenta hacer la sanidad. In- troducir el tema de la sanidad electrónica, ante todo, es subrayar el polimorfismo y preguntarse inevitablemente sobre su perímetro. La "datificación" de nuestras vidas es como el aire que respiramos, por todas partes y casi siempre invisible. La importancia de dominar las innovaciones de las que podrían depender mañana temas tan esenciales como la igualdad del acceso a los cuidados o a la capacidad de curar y sanar hace de la sanidad electrónica un tema legítimamente real, como una gran mutación del sector y de los servicios. El exceso de regulación del modelo francés también está en el núcleo de las dificultades a las que se enfrenta este sector en su desarrollo en Francia.

  Computerization is a technological rupture at the root of what we now call the digital revolution. The source of profound and multiple transformations of society, its impact is so systematic that it becomes more and more complex and illusory to take a sector-based approach. But that is exactly what eHealth is trying to do. Simply introducing the topic of eHealthcare means emphasizing its many forms and finally questioning its limits. The "datafication" of our lives, like the very air we breathe, is everywhere and for the most part, invisible. The importance of mastering those innovations on which will depend problems as critical as equal access to healthcare or the capacity to treat and heal, make eHealth a legitimate subject, similar to the large mutation of industry and the service sector, for government oversight. The French model of excessive regulation is at the heart of those difficulties encountered by the eHealth sector as it develops in France.

  Die Digitalisierung ist ein technologischer Umbruch, der am Beginn dessen steht, was nunmehr allgemein als „digitale Revolution“ bezeichnet wird. Sie ist Quelle vielfältiger und tiefgreifender Umwälzungen der Gesellschaft, und ihre Auswirkungen sind dermassen systemisch, dass es immer komplexer und illusorisch ist, einen sektoriellen Ansatz zu verfolgen. Genau dies versucht jedoch die e-Gesundheit zu erreichen. Das Thema e-Gesundheit zu behandeln erfordert zunächst, die Polymorphie zu betonen und die Abgrenzung zu definieren. Die „Datifizierung“ unserer Leben ist, genauso wie die Luft die wir atmen, omnipräsent und meistens unsichtbar. Die Wichtigkeit, die Innovationen zu beherrschen, von denen in naher Zukunft so wichtige Themen wie der gleiche Zugang zur Behandlung oder die Kapazität zur Behandlung un Heilung abhängen, macht aus der e-Gesundheit ein Schlüsselthema und eine grosse Umstellung der Wirtschaft und der Dienste.
