This article reports on research at the University of California, Riverside where two positronium atoms were stuck together to form a molecule called di-positronium. The study opens up research into antimatter and may explain why so little of it exists in the universe. It might also be used to develop directed-energy weapons or ignite fusion reactions in nuclear power plants.
