  • The article provides information on some of the optical anomalies of various digital display systems work. Micromirror machines have a spinning color wheel inside and some viewers will notice a rainbow effect if the wheel is spinning at a slow speed. The author also explains that liquid-crystal display system images can sometimes appear to have a grid pattern due to pixel positioning.
