  • The article discusses the increase of populism in European Union (EU) countries, including in regard to the populist Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's use of the public's fears of Muslim refugees. An overview of populist political parties in the EU, including the left wing Spanish political party Podemos (We Can), is provided.
