  • The article discusses the four main lessons from history that governments would do well to heed as they respond to terrorism threats. Topics addressed include importance of understanding the nature of the threat as in the case of the U.S. intelligence community's slow response to the danger al Qaeda posed, how European intelligence agencies react to the ISIS threat, and counterterrorism strategy adopted by the British government.
