  • The author discusses the transition of the Tunisian political party Ennahda, from being an Islamist movement fighting against repression and dictatorship to a political party focused on practical agenda and economic vision. Topics addressed include history of the Islamic Tendency Movement (MTI), which later became Ennahda, reason behind the party's objective to separate the political and religious fields, and political progress made by Tunisia.
