Se estudian 1 O casos de lesiones de arteria femoral y poplítea asociadas a fracturas del miembro inferior, tratadas en los últimos 5 años, revisando los criterios actuales diagnósticos y terapéuticos. Se insiste en la necesidad de una reparación vascular precoz sin necesidad de arteriografía previa ni de una osteosíntesis rígida.

10 cases of injuries of the femoral and popliteal arteries in fractures around the knee treated along the last 5 years are reported with nowadays point of view of its diagnosis and treatment.
The repairing of artery damage will be performed asan emergency.
The previous arteriography is not necessary. The interna! fixation is discussed in its own problems.
