La precisión en la pintura es el fundamento principal en la obra de Antonio López y Euan Uglow. Ambos, desde lugares y contextos diferentes, desarrollan un sistema de medición para representar con la mayor fidelidad el espacio real. Para aprehender la realidad los dos artistas necesitan unas herramientas y recursos materiales (plomadas, hilos) que le permitan geometrizar el espacio. Verticales y horizontales crean una retícula que será transcrita en el soporte bidimensional. El resultado de este rigor formal es una perspectiva curvilínea. Las formas rectas (hilos y objetos reales) se transforman en arcos de círculo que representan la disminución de los objetos en sentido altitudinal y latitudinal.

The precision in the painting is the main basis in the work of Antonio Lopez and Euan Uglow. Both, from places and different contexts, develop a measurement system to represent with the highest fidelity real space. To apprehend reality the two artists need a few tools and resource materials (sinkers, threads) that allow geometrizar space. Vertical and horizontal create a grid that will be transcribed in the support two-dimensional. The result of this formal rigor is a perspective curvilinear. The straight forms (wires and real objects) are transformed into arcs of a circle that represent the decline of the objects in sense altitudinal and latitudinal.
