  • In the year 1880 was made the inventory of the real state of the banquer Agustín Edwards Ossandón. This document that is attached to this article has been used as the bassis to assess his fortune. According to that estimation, his fortune was equivalent to 4,78% of the gross national product. According to this judge we can conclude that Edwards has been the richest man in Chilean history
