Relaciones de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas y la Unión Europea: de 1957 a 2015

    En este artículo se presenta un análisis de la relación entre la Unión Europea (UE) y la Organización de la Naciones Unidas (ONU), sus órganos y sus agencias, particularmente en los tiempos recientes. Se propone el estudio de un contexto inicial en el que se pretende ver la situación previa al Tratado de Lisboa - en el que se dota a la UE de personalidad jurídica - para posteriormente, agencia por agencia, estudiar los logros derivados del mismo así como las perspectivas de cara al futuro y el camino que queda por recorrer. Se pretende demostrar que las relaciones entre ambas entidades no son tan idílicas como se cree y que muchos de los desencuentros entre las mismas están aún por resolver.

    This article presented is an analysis of the relationship between the European Union (EU) and the Organization of the United Nations (UN), its organs and agencies, particularly in recent times. the study of an initial context in which it is to see the situation before the Lisbon Treaty - in which gives the EU legally personality later - , agency by agency intends to study the achievements derivatives thereof as well as the prospects for the future and the path that lies ahead. It is intended to demonstrate that relations between the two entities are not as idyllic as it is believed that many of the disagreements between them are yet to be resolved.
