  • The article reports developments in the financial market in Spain as of mid-September 2016, particularly the efforts to reform the debt-for-equity swaps market. Also cited are the provisions of the 2014 Spanish Insolvency Act, as well as such topics as guilty insolvency, debt capitalisation, and the role by Spain's National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) on takeover transactions.
