  The theme of multiculturalism constitutes a discussion of obvious relevance in contemporary society. When starting from observations that take into account the multiplicity of social and cultural discourses, the problem of morality takes on a position of obvious importance. In this context, the following text deals with the double question about the issue of morality in the face of the fragmentation of multiple social discourses and also focuses on the problem of otherness that emerges in the relationship between autonomous cultural rationalities.Keywords: multiculturalism, otherness, Systemic Theory.

  A temática do multiculturalismo afigura-se como uma discussão de evidente relevância na sociedade contemporânea. Quando se parte de observações que levam em consideração a multiplicidade de discursos sociais e culturais, o problema da moralidade assume posição de evidente importância. Nesse contexto, o texto que segue ocupar-se-á com o duplo questionamento sobre o problema da moral diante da fragmentação dos múltiplos discursos sociais, centrando igualmente as atenções na problemática da alteridade que emerge diante das relações entre racionalidades culturais autônomas.Palavras-chave: multiculturalismo, alteridade, Teoria Sistêmica.
