This case illustrates how a French area that is inhabited by different local actors has sought to establish a new sustainable supply chain for the leather industry while accounting for the particularities of the territory and its actors. In-depth interviews were conducted with local actors. The data collected were qualitatively analysed, treated and completed through written sources. The central aim is to find key issues related to this type of supply chain and discover ways to encourage stakeholders with different goals to engage in concrete improvement at an operational level.
