Resumen de Discurso relatado como estratégia organizadora da notícia

  This article presents part of my doctoral dissertation, which focused on the observation of the process of discursive constitution of the world of work in news from the newspapers Clarín and Folha de S. Paulo, in the scope of Mercosul. Tje article is restricted to the exposition of the criteria that guided the study of reported speech (RS) as the main organiser of the news, a discursive genre whose enunciative basis is the tension between informing and expressing opinion. The option for the study of RS springs from my interest in verifying the distance between those two acts, as informing has been considered responsible for the idea of objectivity that sustains the characterization of the news text. It was possible to conclude that, in the constitution proposal of a continuum of occurrences, the notion of “narrated” speech stands out as one of the basic strategies for the institution of the idea of information objectivity, which derives from the enunciative perspective of the enunciator/journalist.

  Este artigo apresenta um recorte do estudo efetuado em nossa tese de doutoramento, cuja proposta centrava-se na observação do processo de constituição discursiva do mundo do trabalho em notícias dos jornais Clarín e Folha de S. Paulo, que tinham como marco o Mercosul. Escolhemos para este artigo a exposição dos critérios que nortearam o estudo do discurso relatado (DR) como organizador principal da notícia, enquanto gênero discursivo cuja base enunciativa é a tensão informar/opinar. A opção pelo estudo do DR deve-se ao interesse de pesquisa em verificar a distância entre esses dois atos, já que informar vem sendo responsabilizado pela idéia de objetividade que sustenta a caracterização do texto noticioso. Foi possível constatar que, na constituição de um continuum de ocorrências, sobressai a noção de discurso narrativizado como uma das estratégias básicas para a instituição da idéia de objetividade da informação, que nasce da perspectiva enunciativa do enunciador-jornalista.
