The snowbed habitat is now subject to the threat of global warming. According to the predictions of the IPCC the average temperature of the planet is expected to rise by between 1.4ºC and 5.8ºC during the period 1990 to 2100. The plants which live here, closely linked to the snow cover, will find that the ecological conditions of their environment are changing, and only some of them will adapt. The work we present below shows how Andorran sedums have been studied in order to extend our knowledge of them and be able to forecast the impact of climate change on some alpine flower species.
