    Andorra has a great variety of sedimentary rocks which explain to us part of the history of the Pyrenees. In this article we describe the rocks and the processes which formed them, and we see what this part of the territory was like between 500 and 370 million years ago, and the living beings which then populated it.

    Il existe en Andorre une grande variété de roches sédimentaires qui nous expliquent en partie l’histoire des Pyrénées. Cet article décrit les différentes roches ainsi que les divers processus qui les ont formées. Il y est également proposé la description de ce territoire, tel qu´il était il y a environ 370 à 500 millions d’années (Ma), ainsi que les caractéristiques des supposés être vivants qui y habitaient alors.
