Evaluación de parámetros clínicos en el transcurso del tratamiento de defectos óseos con Yeso de Hidroxiapatita, HAPSET

    Se determina la influencia sobre los parámetros clínicos (Indice de Placa, Indice de Hemorragia del Sulcus, Movilidad, Profundidad de bolsas, Recesión gingival y Nivel de inserción clínica) de una nueva sustancia compuesta por hidroxiapatita particulada densa y sulfato cálcico semihidratado, YESO DE HIDROXIAPATITA, HAPSET, utilizada en la reconstrucción de defectos óseos periodontales. La muestra empleada, fueron 115 defectos óseos periodontales, distribuidos en 48 pacientes, el grupo control (54 defectos óseos), se trató mediante debridamiento quirúrgico seguido de raspado y alisado radicular, y el grupo experimental (61 defectos óseos) sufrió el mismo tratamiento más implantación en el defecto óseo de YESO DE HIDROXIAPATITA, HAPSET. Los parámetros clínicos se midieron en el periodo prequirúrgico y a los seis y doce meses de la cirugía, posteriormente se hizo un estudio estadístico, utilizando como variables dichos parámetros.

    El material del implante fue bien tolerado en todos los casos. Se pudo apreciar que en los parámetros clínicos, hubo mejoría estadísticamente significativa, en ambas modalidades de tratamiento, mayor en los primeros meses de este, no ejerciendo influencia directa sobre ella el material de relleno.

    The influence over the clinic parameters (Plaque Index, Gingival Sulcus Blededing Index, Mobility, Pocket depth, Gingival recession and Clinical new attachment) of a new substance, made by hydroxylapatite dense and calcium sulfate half -hydrated, Hydroxilapatite Bone Graft Plaster, HAPSET®, used in the rebuilding of bone periodontal faults. The sample were 115 bone periodontal faults. The control group (54 bone faults), was trated by flap surgery, followed by radicular grating and smoothing; and the experimental group (61 bone faults had the same treatment followed by implantation of HAPSET®, in bone faults. The clinic parametres were measured in the presurgical period and after 6 and 12 months of the surgery. Later, a statistic study was made, using as variables, the clinical parametres.

    The implant material was well tolerated in all the cases. It could be seen that in all the clinic parametres a statistically significant improvement was found, in both methods of treatment, bigger in the first months of the latter, the filling material not having direct influence in it.
