Resumen de La pesquisa de Juan José Saer: escrita, crítica e gênero na Literatura Argentina

The gender hybridism has become an important character of contemporary literature and literary criticism doesn’t elude this phenomenon. Not only criticism has to deal with de definition of the concept of gender in literary works, as it becomes itself an element of mixing and generic hybridism in texts that merge essay and novel or present critical discussions within fictional texts. From a brief history of the configuration of the Argentine Literature since the nineteenth century and an attempt to define – as brief as possible – the category of literary genre, this article aims to discuss and analyze the novel La pesquisa (The Investigation), by Juan José Saer, from three angles. First, we discuss the role of crime fiction in the text, then we analyze the gender hybridism as a narrative praxis in the work of Saer, and finally we aim to demonstrate how his work fits in the Argentinean literary tradition that builds itself from a literary self-reflection, from generic mixing and form the creation of strong author figures in an intellectual field marked by incessant controversies as by intellectual and ideological strong positions.

A hibridez de gêneros tornou-se uma marca da literatura contemporânea e a crítica literária não escapa deste fenômeno. Não só a crítica se vê envolta mais uma vez com as questões sobre como definir o conceito de gênero nas obras literárias, como ela própria se torna elemento da mescla e da hibridez genérica em textos que fundem ensaio e romance ou que propõem discussões críticas no seio de obras ficcionais. A partir de um breve histórico da configuração da Literatura Argentina desde o século XIX e de uma tentativa de definição mínima para a categoria de gênero literário, este artigo propõe discutir e analisar o romance La pesquisa, de Juan José Saer sob três prismas. Em primeiro lugar, discute-se que papel desempenha o gênero policial no texto, em seguida analisa-se a hibridez de gênero como práxis narrativa na obra deste escritor argentino e, por fim, busca-se demonstrar como sua obra se insere em uma tradição literária nacional – a argentina – que se conforma desde seus primórdios a partir da autorreflexão literária, das mesclas de gênero e da criação de fortes figuras de autor em um campo intelectual marcado pelas incessantes polêmicas e tomadas de posições intelectuais e ideológicas.
