Uma viagem retrospetiva à antropologia da religião

    Este trabajo comienza con una contextualización de la aparición de la antropología de la religión que nos llevará a las definiciones antropológicas de la religión a tan solo hacer una aproximación general a la literatura científica sobre la religión. Así que en este enfoque general se definieron algunos puertos, es decir, algunos antropólogos que se han distinguido por su contribución al estudio de la religión, tales como E. Tylor, Malinowski B. y C. Geertz. A estos autores, se añadió un otro, P. Boyer, por que tiene una mirada a la religión que se basa en las perspectivas científicas que amplián su campo de acción y la explicación de las más diversas áreas del conocimiento, las ciencias cognitivas. Por último, es importante señalar que estos antropólogos y su concepción específica de la religión no son el puerto de llegada, sino un puerto de partida, es decir, los facilitadores del diálogo con otros antropólogos y estudiosos de la religión que gravitan sin subordinación, una cierta perspectiva de ver el fenómeno religioso.

    This paper begins with a contextualization of the emergence of the anthropology of religion that will lead us to the anthropological definitions of religion just to make a general approach on scientific research on religion. Therefore, in this general approach route, some sheltered harbours were defined, that is some anthropologists who have stood out for their contribution to the study of religion, such as E. Tylor, B. Malinowski and C. Geertz. To this list, we added another author, P. Boyer, by presenting a look on religion that is grounded in scientific perspectives which extends its field of activity and explanation to the most diverse fields of knowledge, the cognitive sciences. Finally, it is important to state that these anthropologists, and its specific conception of religion, are not ports of arrival but departure pier, i.e., facilitators of dialogue with other anthropologists and scholars of religion who gravitate without subordination in a particular perspective of looking at the religious phenomenon.
