La interrelación entre el crecimiento demográfico y el desarrollo económico en diferentes espacios geográficos promueve un interés creciente en el campo académico e investigativo debido a las transformaciones en los modos de concebir y usar el medio como soporte biofísico y como espacio para la construcción social. Se valoran algunas concepciones teóricas sobre este particular, haciendo énfasis en las teorías del crecimiento de la población mundial y se propone una guía metodológica más dinámica e integrada a la realidad específica del docente que lo lleve a interiorizar la necesidad de un modo de actuación profesional.
The interrelation between the population growth and the economic development in different geographic spaces promotes a growing interest at the academic and investigating field due to the transformations in the modes of conceiving and using the environment as biophysical support and as a space for social construction. This work recommends the evaluation of some theoretical conceptions on this theme, emphasizing on the theories of worldwide population growth. A methodological guide more dynamic and integrated to the teacher's specific reality that leads to interiorize the need of a professional mode of acting is proposed in this article.
