  • The article presents an interview with U.S. NASCAR stock car driver Jimmie Johnson. Winning is addressed in relation to the race cars and drivers that compete in NASCAR events. Mental preparations for automobile races are examined, along with teamwork in the automobile racing industry, decision making by race car drivers, and a racer's instinctive behavior while driving. The impacts that big data and technology are having on NASCAR racing are also assessed.
