Le Nain, simply.
An ambitious Le Nain exhibition, organized in Fort Worth and in San Francisco, coinciding with the reedition of Jacques Thuillier's texts concernings these artists, allows the examination of new attributions and the still relevant questioning of the part played by each of the brothers in the overall work, its chronology and the interpretation to be made of the subjects treated. The author analyzes the choices adopted in the American exhibition; the first dedicated to the Le Nain brothers since the one organized by J. Thuillier in Paris in 1978.
