Resumen de Adenopatía cervical como primera manifestación de un tumor de cavum

  Presentamos el caso clínico de un paciente con una adenopatía en zona subángulo mandibular, en el que la clínica y sobre todo la presencia de un tercer molar incluido, y sus síntomas, prestaron a confusión en un primer momento diagnóstico. La tomografía axial computerizada y el análisis detallado de las características clínicas de la adenopatía, nos llevaron al diagnóstico de una adenopatía metastásica a un tumor de cavum, siendo por lo tanto la manifestación ganglionar la primera señal de su enfermedad maligna.

  We report the case of a patient with adenopathy in the region of the submandibular angle; the clinical manifestations and above all the presence of an included molar and its symptoms, initially generated confusion as to the diagnosis. Tomographic evaluation and a detailed analysis of the lymph node clinical features led to the diagnosis of metastatic adenopathy corresponding to a cavum tumor. Adenopathy was the first manifestation of the malignant disease.
