  • Sestao delivers the “Texelstroom” A LANAVAL FERRY FOR THE XXI CENTURY Summary: The launching of the hybrid gas, diesel and electric eco-ferry the “Texelstroom” has consolidated the position of innovative Spanish shipbuilders in the industry. Since its conception, this advanced Dutch vessel has been committed to sustainability and adaptation to its particular environment. A number of highly prestigious companies have been involved in the construction of the vessel for over a year at the LaNaval facilities. Currently, the “Texelstroom” is ready to operate on the island of Texel at the start of its first summer season.
