  • Creating new energy structures in maritime transport PROGRESS IN LNG Summary: The move to reduce and completely eliminate NOx emissions produced by the combustion of fossil fuels in shipping, has only one real, affordable and immediate solution:

    Liquefied Natural Gas. It is the preferred fuel solution for new builds that are increasingly being fitted with engines designed to work with LNG, and also for ships in service, that refurbish and adapt their engines. Alongside this and moving in the same direction, we can see LNG companies developing projects for clean fuel supply vessels while ports are increasingly engaging in how to accommodate the new fuel.
