  • An industry for all oceans NORTHERN-BASED SHIPYARDS AT FULL YIELD Summary: Since the end of 2015, three shipyards of the Cantabrian and Atlantic-Galician costs have completed and delivered to their respective ship-owners in Spain, France, Mexico, Germany and Israel a total of ten technology-driven vessels. The article will briefly outline the most salient features of five new tuna-freezers, two tugs, one support vessel designed for use by the offshore energy industry and one suction dredger. All vessels reflect elements of the powerful auxiliary naval industry which together with Spain´s engineering know-how, is competing advantageously in a global and exclusive market.
