    • MONALISA 2.0 from Gothenburg to the world INCREASINGLY AUTOMATED AND INTERCONNECTED MARITIME TRANSPORT WITH FEWER CREW Summary: “Taking maritime transport into the digital era” is the MONALISA 2.0 project slogan, as led by the Swedish Maritime Safety agency (the SMA) for the past three years.

      Spain has been one of the main participants through the Spanish Maritime Safety Agency, part of the Ministry for Development. Now this first phase had reached its “notably successful” conclusion, closing at the final conference in Gothemburg, the Sea Traffic Management (STM) validation project has kicked off as the next thing in maritime cloud services. The MONALISA 2.0 working group, comprising of now 14 member states, is preparing to initiate the validation phase of the concept from the need-to-know to need-to-share information phases.
