Resumen de Gestión del conocimiento y competencias: ¿una nueva forma de educar?

La problemática que se aborda en el presente artículo tiene su origen en la exigencia que se hace a la educación en general, y a la educación superior en particular, a modificar sus currículos y orientarlos por parámetros que en gran medida responden a necesidades de la economía. La tendencia actual es exigirle a la educación que produzca profesionales de alto nivel técnico, flexibles e innovadores, que sean capaces de actuar eficaz y eficientemente en situaciones nuevas, además de otras capacidades y habilidades que le permitan a la empresa ser competitiva. Nos preguntamos entonces si estamos ante una nueva forma de educar.

This paper shows the problem of the demands to education, in general, and to higher education, in particular, that is, the modification of their curricula and orientation of parameters which largely respond to the economic needs. The current trend is to require public education to train highly technical, flexible and innovative professionals capable of acting effectively and efficiently in new situations as well as developing other abilities and skills that enable the company to be competitive. We wonder if we are facing a new educational approach.
