Resumen de Literatura artúrica en la Península Ibérica: cuestiones traductológicas y lingüísticas

La literatura artúrica se introduce en la península Ibérica a través de varias vías y en diversos momentos de la Edad Media. Al margen de los poemas y las referencias en otras obras, los escasos testimonios conservados consisten en traducciones, algunas alteradas o fragmentarias, en catalán, gallego-portugués y castellano. A partir de los testimonios textuales es posible acercarse a su difusión, sus variaciones y los procesos de traducción horizontal habidos entre los siglos XIII y XVI. En este trabajo se ofrece una revisión de esta tradición caballeresca hispánica desde una perspectiva traductológica y de la materialidad de los textos, con el fin de singularizar los testimonios relacionados con el mito del Grial, y de los principales problemas de traducción que arrojan luz sobre su difusión y conservación en la Península.

Arthurian literature is introduced in the Iberian Peninsula through several ways and at different times during the Middle Ages. Other than poems and references in other works, the few written records remaining have the form of translations, some altered or fragmentary, in Catalan, Galician-Portuguese and Castilian. From the textual testimonies it is possible to understand its spreading, modifications and the processes of horizontal translation that took place between the thirteenth and the sixteenth centuries. In this paper it is offered a revision of this Hispanic chivalric tradition from a translation perspective and from the material texts, with the purpose of singling out those testimonies related to the Grial myth, as well as a revision of the main translation issues shedding light about its spreading and conservation in the Iberian Peninsula.
