La amenaza de lo doméstico

    Este artículo explora lo inquietante en la arquitectura doméstica como fenómeno estético-psicológico contra natura, por ir contra la misma esencia de lo domesticado y cotidiano. De las imágenes tabú del inconsciente colectivo, estas reflexiones se centran en la herida/disección en el cuerpo (arquitectónico) como catalizador de lo intranquilizante en el contexto de lo íntimo. El caso paradigmático a analizar es el de Gordon Matta-Clark y sus acciones arquitectónicas evocadoras de este tipo de imágenes. Este autor será vinculado con conceptos desarrollados en las investigaciones de Anthony Vidler. El artículo es un extracto de un capítulo de la tesis doctoral del autor,ctualmente en construcción.

    This article explores the disquieting in the domestic architecture as an anti-natural aesthetic-psychological phenomenon, which contradicts the essence of the domesticated and quotidian. Among different taboo images from the collective unconscious these considerations focus on the injury/dissection of the (architectural) body as catalyst of the uneasy in the context of the privacy. The paradigmatic reference to be researched is Gordon Matta-Clark and his architectural actions which recall these images. This author will be also linked with some notions developed by the researcher Anthony Vidler. The article consists of a selection of one chapter of the doctorate thesis of the author which is currently in construction.
