    En este artículo se va a analizar el papel jugado por los personajes masculinos en la película Kamchatka. En ella, el devenir de una familia que huye debido al golpe de estado en Argentina en 1976, les hace cambiar de rutina y huir a una casa al campo. La historia, contada a través de los ojos de un niño, irá mostrando como su evolución y la influencia que él recibe de los personajes hombre de la película, sobre todo de su padre, Vicente David. Los personajes femeninos no tendrán relevancia, de ahí que se hable de un microcosmos masculino.

    In this article there will an analysis on the role played by the male characters in the movie Kamchatka. In it, the evolution of a family which is running away due to the coupe d’état which happened in Argentina in 1976, which make them change their daily routine and they have to go and hide in a countryside house. The story, which will be told through the eyes of a child, will show his own evolution as well as the influence he receives from all the male characters involved in the plot, especially from his father, Vicente David. The female character will not be important at all, that is why we talk about a male microcosm.
