Resumen de Otro soneto apelativo a la noche en Lope de Vega: "El príncipe perfeto" (c. 1612-1614)

Este artículo completa un estudio anterior sobre los sonetos apelativos a la noche en Lope de Vega, añadiendo un nuevo ejemplo procedente de "El príncipe perfeto". Esta ampliación del corpus, y el conveniente análisis comparativo del nuevo soneto, permite matizar las conclusiones del trabajo previo: por una parte, se confirman plenamente las relativas al uso lopesco de las fórmulas; por otra, corrige las que atañen al tono e imaginería de la serie.

This article completes a previous study on appellative sonnets to the night in Lope de Vega, pointing out a new example from "El príncipe perfeto". By widening the corpus, and by conveniently analyzing the new sonnet in comparison with the others, we can qualify our previous conclusions: on the one hand, these conclusions were founded regarding Lope’s use of literary formulae; on the other, we must slightly correct our theories regarding tone and imagery in the sonnet series
