    El artículo hace un recorrido cronológico de la historia de la docencia e investigación en Arqueología Subacuática en la Universidad de Zaragoza, desde mediados del siglo XX hasta la actualidad. Desde los años setenta se vincula directamente al esfuerzo por promocionar esta especialidad científica por el autor, tanto desde la vertiente docente en las aulas, programas de licenciatura y doctorado a los planes presentes. Promoción del buceo científico desde organismos científicos e instituciones deportivas y otras como la CMAS y la UNESCO. Proyectos de investigación, con una relación actualizada de los mismos y abundante bibliografía.

    This article gives a chronological view of the history of the teaching and research in Underwater Archaeology in the University of Saragossa, from middle of the 20th century up to the present day. From the seventies it links itself directly to the effort to promote this scientific speciality by the author, from the academic approach in the classrooms -Masters, Bachelors and Ph.D degree programmes to the present plans-. Promotion of the scientific diving from scientific agencies and sports institutions and different institutions like the CMAS and the UNESCO. Projects of investigation, with an updated list of themand abundant bibliography.
