En este artículo se realizará un análisis de las enseñanzas artístico-musicales en Enseñanza Secundaria Obligatoria desde la llegada de la Ley Orgánica General del Sistema Educativo hasta la actualidad. Se expondrá el desarrollo legislativo de la Música como especialidad en este tipo de enseñanzas, comparando el tratamiento por parte de la Administración Educativa en relación a otras áreas de conocimiento a lo largo de los últimos veinte años. También se plantearán posibles opciones de futuro respecto a las reformas anunciadas recientemente por el gobierno central.
This article looks into Music and Art teaching in Compulsory Secondary Education from the passing of the Education System Act up to the present. It is concerned with the legislative development of music as a specialty in this stage of education, by means of a thorough analysis of the way it has been undertaken by the Education Administration in comparison to some other fields of knowledge over the last 20 years. Potential future options will also be raised in relation to the reforms recently announced by the Central Government
