Rosa Leveroni va girar l’obra de T. S. Eliot The Waste Land (Terra erma), poema que també van traslladar Agustí Bartra i Joan Ferraté. Un dels aspectes de la traducció de Leveroni en què la crítica ha incidit més rau en el fet que Carles Riba la hi va corregir. En aquest article incidirem en la recepció d’aquesta traducció, i sobretot, analitzarem la tipologia d’esmenes que Riba va proposar.

Rosa Leveroni translated into Catalan TS Eliot’s poem The Waste Land, which was also translated by Agustí Bartra and Joan Ferraté. Many critics focused their observations on Carles Riba corrections on the text rather on the work of Leveroni itself. This paper explains the reception of this translation and analyses the type of changes that Riba proposed.
