    Este trabajo analiza el rol de José Joaquín de Mora en el iniciodel proceso de construcción de la imagen heroica de JoséMiguel Carrera en 1828 luego de la repatriación de sus restosmortales desde Mendoza, determinando los elementos constitutivosde la misma y comprobando su proyección temporal.
