    Aparentemente, algunas nociones e ideas fundamentales de la geopolítica crítica han sido cercanas históricamente, como la distinción implícita entre límite y frontera de la geolingüística y la dialectología. Sin embargo, ambos enfoques han realizado sus estudios sustentados en los supuestos epistemológicos de su tiempo. De allí que se establezca que la vertiente de la lingüística contemporánea pertinente para el estudio de la producción y circulación de los discursos geopolíticos que median la configuración efectiva del territorio por parte de los sujetos es el Análisis Crítico del Discurso.

    Apparently, some fundamental ideas of critical geopolitics have been historically close, like the implied distinction between boundary and border of geo-linguistic and dialectology. However, both approaches have made their studies sustained in the so call language studious of their own time. From there we can state that the apex of the contemporary linguistic for the study of production and circulation of geopolitical discourses that mediate the effective configuration of territory on behalf of the subjects, is the Critical Analysis of the Discourse.
