    Se describe Thymus × alcarazii Pedauyé, Perales & P.P. Ferrer, nothosp. nov., un nuevo híbrido interespecífico entre Thymus moroderi Pau ex Martínez y Th. membranaceus Boiss. (Sect. Pseudothymbra Benth., Lamiaceae), procedente del Monte Hurchillo (Alicante, España), cuya presencia entre Orihuela y Bigastro ya fue publicada por Rigual en 1972, sin describir la planta según el Código Internacional de Nomenclatura. Se incluye una tabla con los principales caracteres diagnósticos y de sus progenitores y detalles sobre su distribución.

    A hybrid new Thymus × alcarazii Pedauyé, Perales & P.P. Ferrer, nothosp. nov., between Thymus moroderi Pau ex Martínez and Th. membranaceus Boiss. (Sect. Pseudothymbra Benth., Lamiaceae) from Monte Hurchillo (Alicante, Spain) is described. The presence of this plant, between Orihuela and Bigastro, was indicated by Rigual in 1972, without a description according to the International Code of Nomenclature. A table with the principal characters of this hybrid and their parents, and details about its distribution is provided.
