This research aims to test the hypothesis planteda: “The Holy Spirit, the Spousal origin” in the super Cantica Expositio Canticorum of William of St. Thierry. From this place of communion flows the Spousal where human beings are called to share in the Trinitarian life through the Holy Spirit, through the hypostatic union of human and divine in Christ. This is a complex and novel nature, developed from a dogmatic content that the author has deployed as mystical theology Trinity.

La presente investigación ha pretendido verificar la hipótesis planteda: “El Espíritu Santo, origen de la esponsalidad” en la Expositio super Cantica canticorum de Guillermo de Saint-Thierry. Desde este lugar de comunión fluye la esponsalidad donde el ser humano es llamado a participar en la vida trinitaria por medio del Espíritu Santo, gracias a la unión hipostática de lo humano y lo divino en Cristo. Se trata de un tema complejo y de índole novedoso, desarrollado a partir de un contenido dogmático que el autor ha desplegado como teología mística trinitaria.
