    Este artículo es síntesis de una investigación ya terminada, orientada por la pregunta: ¿Qué lugar tiene la consistencia imaginaria en el nudo borromeo? Fueron tomados como referentes principales Sigmund Freud y Jacques Lacan. Para su desarrollo se revisaron planteamientos acerca de la libido, la pulsión y otros más elementos de lo imaginario, tales como las experiencias ópticas y el nudo borromeo.     This article summarizes an investigation led by the question: which is the place of the imaginary consistency in the Borromean knot? The main references of the investigation were Sigmund Freud and Jacques Lacan. For the development of this, there were revised different approaches to libido, drive, and other elements of the imaginary such as the optic experiences and the Borromean knot.
