Resumen de Abordajes investigativos del cuidado familiar en la migración internacional paterna/materna: la omisión del lugar de los hombres

  Este artículo señala algunas tendencias analíticas de investigaciones publicadas en América Latina y España entre 2002 y 2013, que abordan cuidado y familia en el contexto de la migración internacional de padres y madres. El estudio se efectuó mediante una revisión documental sustentada en la identificación, clasificación, categorización e interpretación de dichas tendencias, reconociendo los abordajes conceptuales, los sujetos de investigación y el cuidado transnacional como un reconocimiento a los procesos investigativos en los que el centro de análisis fue la familia con experiencia migratoria paterna o materna. En estas investigaciones se reitera la condición estructural de asignación del cuidado como saber y deber de las mujeres; se muestran algunas discusiones sobre la organización social del cuidado en la familia y su transnacionalización, y se pone al descubierto la poca investigación acerca de los hombres y el cuidado.

  This article points out some analytical research addressing trends care and family in the context of international migration of parents published in Latin America and Spain between 2002 and 2013. The study was conducted through a literature review supported by the identification, classification, categorization and interpretation of these trends, conceptual approaches in research, research subjects and transnational care: challenge to the investigative processes with family in investigations in which the center of analysis was the paternal or maternal family migration experience. In these investigations the structural condition of the care allowance as knowing and duty of women is repeated; some discussions about the social organization of care in the family and their transnationalization shown, and reveals little research about men and care.
